The TDS race in Grass Valley California has been on our bucket list for a while. This spring we finally made it happen and took on the trip to California.
The race is famous for its wild crowd and lots of side activities.
We were in for a treat; the spectators came in hundreds and pushed us to ride our fastest. Despite some wet weather we had the best time camping and enjoying the crazy vibes this race had.
Caro was on fire and got 4th in a stacked field, Anita unfortunately had a stomach bug that slowed her down and putting her in 7th place.
Besides the race we enjoyed a beautiful holiday trip along the coast in a van, rode the best trails in Santa Cruz, went whale watching and did a trip to the Specialized Office in Auburn. Where we had the chance to ride the at that time not yet relased Stumpjumper. Very exciting.
